In the morning, as they went along, they saw the fig tree withered from the roots.
Peter remembered and said to Jesus, “Rabbi, look! The fig tree you cursed has withered!”
“Have faith in God,” Jesus answered.
“I tell you the truth, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen, it will be done for him.
Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.
And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive him, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins.”[But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father who is in heaven forgive your sins.]

GNT … All you ask for in prayer will be yours, if you only have faith. When you stand in prayer, forgive what others have done to you. Then God will forgive your sins. Mark 11:25 Whenever you stand up to pray, you must forgive what others have done to you. Then your Father in heaven will forgive your sins’

Prayer and Forgiveness work hand in hand; without you forgiving those who have wronged you or those who you have issues with, your prayers cannot be answered; it’s like having a blocked drain, the water cant get down the drain and just sits there in a stagnated state; your prayers are stagnate and just can’t get through. But if you forgive all who have done you wrong, and if you forgive all you have something against, God will forgive you and answer your prayers. When you ask God for forgiveness, He forgives you, you become pure and blameless and your prayers become an unblemished sacrifice, and He shows his Love by answering your prayers.
