He told them another parable: “The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed, which a man took and planted in his field.
Though it is the smallest of all your seeds, yet when it grows, it is the largest of garden plants and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and perch in its branches.”
He told them still another parable: “The kingdom of heaven is like yeast that a woman took and mixed into a large amount of flour until it worked all through the dough.”

GNT … The kingdom of heaven is like what happens when a woman mixes a little yeast into 3 big batches of flour. Finally, all the dough rises’ ‘Mat 13:44 The kingdom of heaven is like what happens when someone finds treasure hidden in a field… he sells all in order to buy that field’

What does this mean? It means the Kingdom of God is so precious, so valuable that selling everything to get there is worth it. And yet you can’t buy, barter or negotiate your way into the Kingdom like some business deal, but you will happily give everything you have to get there; nothing on earth, nothing that any of us could imagine, comes close to what the Kingdom of God is like.
